confessions of a mills and boon junkie
Check out this Mills and Boon article in The Guardian: "Confessions of a Mills and Boon Junkie." I quote: Mills & Boon publishes 720 romantic novels a year. Featuring the kind of heroes their female readers can sigh and swoon over, they outsell true crime, science fiction and God in the bookshops. As fiction, they're easy to read – so surely it's easy to write one ...I, for one, loved it! Funny stuff. With some great pearls from Mills and Boon junkies and excellent advice from Michelle Styles about resepecting our wonderful readers.

PS - got my hands on the magnate's indecent proposal (a friend recently got me hooked on the book depository). Loved it, loved it. Have read Caleb & Ava's story so was nice to read Damien & Chelsea's.

Hi Ally
Just read article, and the comments!
Hilarious! Why do people think it's easy to write a Mills & Boon? If it's so simple why don't they write one?
Michelle Styles comments were spot on - no respect for the reader - even if the article was written tongue in cheek.
Just want to thank you for your writing tips!! Awesome.
I've been trying mindmaps to keep me focused on the 'journey' and not lose track. Tony Buzan has written many books on the subject and has one for beginners. It might be a usefull tool?
LOL
